Artist Study in Seoul

Artist Study in Seoul
Watercolor and colored pencil on paper

I was invited to an art studio in Seoul to create a piece while speaking about Bolivian myths. As I painted a China Supay mask, the process was recorded and later turned into a class where Korean children copied my drawing. What stayed with me wasn’t just the artwork itself, but the act of translation. Myths carried across languages, gestures mirrored across cultures. The mask became a bridge, a way of showing how Bolivian stories can travel, adapt, and live in new contexts.
